Kyiv reports 1,457 new coronavirus cases

"The city has recorded 1,457 new patients over the past day. Forty-seven people have died - 21 women and 26 men," he said at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

According to Klitschko, 4,021 lethal cases from the virus have been recorded in the capital since the start of the pandemic. A total number of confirmed cases in Kyiv have reached 180,066.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv in the past day are 825 women aged 18-95 years; 40 girls aged between six months and 17 years; 562 men aged 18-92 years; 30 boys aged between four months and 17 years old. Twenty-two health workers are among new COVID-19 patients.

At the same time, 713 people have recovered in Kyiv over the course of the past day. In total, 14,553 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.
