Most Ukrainians believe that country lacks order

The vast majority of the population of Ukraine believes that the country lacks order.

According to Ukrinform, this is evidenced by the results of the poll conducted by the Rating sociological group.

According to the data obtained, 84% of respondents believe that Ukraine lacks order in the first place, even if greater order restricted certain freedoms. Only 11% say the country lacks freedom, even if greater freedom reduced order. The demand for order is steadily growing and is currently at its highest level since 2017, sociologists say.

The poll results also show that in the areas of public safety, respondents rate protection against emergencies the highest as 59% of respondents consider it good or satisfactory.

Protection against terrorist threats is assessed as good or satisfactory by 48% of respondents, social protection – 50%.

At the same time, 47% of respondents assess road safety as good or satisfactory, 43% - safety of life and property of citizens, 40% - health care, 39% - protection of human rights, 37% - environment and 34% - protection against epidemics.

Protection in the field of illegal migration is assessed as good or satisfactory by 40%, while a quarter of respondents are undecided.

According to the poll results, citizens consider themselves the least protected in the field of justice (26% rated it as good or satisfactory) and protection against corruption (12%).

The Rating sociological group conducted the poll "Ukraine on quarantine: order and security" on March 26-28, 2021. The poll audience was the population of Ukraine aged 18 and over in all regions, except for the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas.
