The Ministry of Health of Ukraine made changes to the order of March 22, 2021 No. 230 "On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of December 9, 2020 No. 1236", which determined a specific list of places for mandatory wearing of masks in regions classified as the red zone of epidemic danger.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

“So, according to these changes, wearing face masks is not obligatory in parks and public gardens, as some media outlets mistakenly noted in their news. At the same time, wearing masks is mandatory in health care and education institutions, underpasses, public transport stops and other public areas if it is impossible to keep a physical distance of at least 1 meter,” the report reads.

The ministry recalled that by the same decree of March 22, the Cabinet of Ministers changed the rules for crossing the border, and now foreigners and stateless persons when entering our country must provide a certificate of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken no more than 72 hours before crossing the state border.

Citizens of Ukraine who cross the state border and want to avoid self-isolation and observation must have a negative PCR test result taken no later than 48 hours before crossing the border.

As reported, on March 22, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine obliged to wear a face mask outdoors in regions classified as the red zone of epidemic danger.

Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said that the Cabinet of Ministers allowed foreigners to enter Ukraine only with a negative PCR test result for COVID-19.

Ukraine recorded 16,669 new coronavirus cases over the past day, bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 1,596,575 as of March 25, 2021.
