Health Ministry: More than 10,900 people vaccinated against COVID-19 in past day

More than 10,900 people in Ukraine received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine on March 22, according to data published on the Vaccination against COVID-19 portal of the Health Ministry.

“On March 22, 10,904 people in Ukraine were vaccinated against COVID-19. Since the start of the vaccination campaign, 121,929 people have been vaccinated. In particular, people vaccinated with first dose – 121,928, fully vaccinated people (received 2 doses) - 1,” reads the report.

On March 22, 172 mobile vaccination teams and 156 stationary vaccination points operated across the country to conduct vaccination. The highest vaccination rate was recorded in the city of Kyiv – 1,030 injections. Since the start of the vaccination campaign in Ukraine, the highest COVID-19 vaccination rate has been registered in Donetsk region – 9,164 injections.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine launched the coronavirus vaccination campaign on February 24, 2021.
