Health Ministry: 4,362 people in Ukraine vaccinated over past day

As many as 23,480 people have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in Ukraine, according to data published on the Vaccination against COVID-19 portal of the Health Ministry.
“Over the past day, 4,362 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine. In particular, people vaccinated with the first dose - 4,362, fully vaccinated (received 2 doses) - 0 people,” reads the report.
It is noted that 81 mobile immunization teams operate across the country to conduct vaccination.
On March 9, the highest number of vaccinations was carried out in Donetsk region - 660 injections. Since the start of vaccination campaign in Ukraine, the highest number of vaccinations was also recorded in Donetsk region – 3,134.
As reported by Ukrinform, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine reached 1,416,438, including 6,377 new coronavirus cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
