Health Ministry expects to complete all stages of vaccination by year-end

“The Ministry of Health envisages the deployment of 572 mobile teams and 4,250 vaccination sites at hospitals. We are planning to complete the main stages of vaccination this calendar year. That is, access to the vaccine will be provided to all citizens of Ukraine, without exception, who want to be vaccinated, and our vaccination is voluntary,” Stepanov said during an hour of questions to the government held in the Verkhovna Rada on March 5, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

As reported by Ukrinform, medical personnel working in hospitals designated for treatment of COVID-19 patients are among those offered the first dose of COVID-19 vaccines, as well as workers of mobile teams that carry out coronavirus vaccinations.

Ukraine launched the coronavirus vaccination campaign on February 24, 2021.

As of March 5, 12,481 people received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Ukraine.
