With WHO support, Embassy of Denmark provided 30 lung ventilators to Ukraine

The Embassy of Denmark in Ukraine, with the support of the World Health Organization (WHO), provided 30 hospitals in 19 regions of Ukraine with 30 lung ventilators for intensive care units (ICU).

The World Health Organization in Ukraine wrote on Facebook that the organization provided technical support for equipment installation, provided an extended warranty for maintenance and assisted with staff training.

It is noted that this is a joint project of the Embassy of Denmark in Ukraine and the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine.

As reported by Ukrinform, a total of 1,287,141 COVID-19 cases were registered in Ukraine on February 18, including 6,237 new cases in the past 24 hours. Since the start of the pandemic, 1,287,141 people in Ukraine have fallen ill with coronavirus, 1,134,120  people have recovered, and 24,852 have died.
