Kyiv reports 513 new COVID-19 cases

Kyiv has confirmed 513 new coronavirus cases in the past day, bringing the total to 133,347, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has said.

"The capital has confirmed 513 coronavirus cases over the past day. Eleven people have died. In total, 2,557 Kyiv residents have died from coronavirus,” said Klitschko, the mayor’s press service reports.

According to Klitschko, among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv in the past day are 277 women aged 18-89 years; 11 girls aged 1-17 years; 220 men aged 18-83 years; 5 boys aged 8-16 years old.

At the same time, 713 people have recovered in Kyiv over the course of the past day. In total, 90,140 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As reported by Ukrinform, a total of 1,287,141 COVID-19 cases were registered in Ukraine on February 18, including 6,237 new cases in the past 24 hours.
