A SkyUp Airlines plane with Ukrainian tourists, who had not been able to depart from Zanzibar since February 13, has landed at Boryspil International Airport, according to the airport's flight information system.

Flight PQ1972 from Zanzibar arrived at the airport at 09:42.

On February 13, about 180 Ukrainian tourists were stranded in Zanzibar due to a plane malfunction. Ukrainian diplomats were working with the tour operator to resolve the issue of their return home.

On February 15, Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Vladyslav Kryklii said that the necessary permission had been received from the Turkish side to bring Ukrainian tourists back home from Zanzibar and that the flight would be performed via Antalya. SkyUp Airlines reported that the plane departed with all passengers and luggage at 23:59 Kyiv time on February 15.
