Ukraine to return to adaptive quarantine – Stepanov

The Health Ministry of Ukraine will soon submit to the Cabinet of Ministers a resolution on the country's transition to adaptive quarantine.

Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said this at a briefing on February 2, Ukrinform reports.

“As to returning to normal life. According to our strategy, we want to move on to adaptive quarantine. We have made calculations and we will soon submit a relevant resolution at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. Today, for example, according to the information on the number of [coronavirus] cases, we do not have any administrative territorial unit that would be in the red zone," said Stepanov.

As reported by Ukrinform, a total of 1,223,879 coronavirus cases were recorded in Ukraine on February 2, including 2,394 new COVID-19 cases registered in the past 24 hours.
