Ukraine reports 4,685 new coronavirus cases

As of January 30, Ukraine has reported 1,216,278 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 4,685 new cases recorded over the past 24 hours.

"Some 4,685 new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) have been recorded in Ukraine as of January 30, 2021. In particular, 200 children and 336 health workers contracted COVID-19," Health Minister Maksym Stepanov posted on his Facebook page.

According to him, 149 deaths, 11,317 recoveries and 1,906 hospitalizations were registered in Ukraine on January 29.

In addition, 41,781 coronavirus tests, including 23,871 PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests and 17,910 ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) tests, were performed in Ukraine in the past 24 hours.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 22,628 deaths and 1,014,658 recoveries have been recorded and 6,232,960 PCR tests have been performed.

The highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours was registered in Ivano-Frankivsk region (412), Lviv region (353), Kyiv city (341), Dnipropetrovsk region (335) and Kyiv region (325).
