Kyiv reports 361 new COVID-19 cases – Klitschko

Kyiv city has recorded 361 new coronavirus cases in the past day, bringing the total number to 127,833, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

"Some 361 new coronavirus patients were registered in Kyiv over the past day. Nine people died. In total, 2,335 coronavirus deaths have been confirmed in the capital since the start of the pandemic," the mayor said at an online briefing on January 29.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv in the past day are 203 women aged 18-84 years; 6 girls aged 2-17 years; 142 men aged 18-84 years; and 10 boys aged 1-17 years. In particular, 15 health workers fell ill with COVID-19 over the past day.

At the same time, 1,735 people recovered in Kyiv over the past day. In total, 65,722 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As of January 29, Ukraine reported 1,211,593 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 5,181 new cases recorded over the past 24 hours.
