Ukraine classifies 63 countries as ‘red’ zone

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has released an updated list of countries in "red" and "green" zones according to the incidence rate of COVID-19 as of January 29, 2021.

The list is available on the website of the Health Ministry.

The list contains data on 194 states that are members of the World Health Organization (WHO). It provides information on the number of active COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population in each country.

In particular, Ukraine is in the "green zone", with 169.7 active COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population.

The "red zone" covers 63 countries, including Hungary, the Russian Federation, Romania, Canada, Austria, Poland, Belarus, Italy, France, Brazil, the United Kingdom, the United States and others.

There is no data on the incidence rate of COVID-19 for 11 countries.

The "green zone" includes Turkey, Armenia, Norway, Finland, Egypt and others.

As of January 29, Ukraine reported 1,211,593 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 5,181 new cases recorded over the past 24 hours.
