Highest incidence of COVID-19 cases recorded in three regions, Kyiv city
According to the Health Ministry data, the highest incidence of coronavirus cases over the past 14 days was registered in Zaporizhzhia region (367.8 cases per 100,000 people), Mykolaiv region (366.2), Cherkasy region (296) and Kyiv city (296.9).
An average incidence of COVID-19 cases across Ukraine is 205.1 cases per 100,000 people.
The lowest incidence rate of COVID-19 cases in the past 14 days was recorded in Kirovohrad region (79.7 per 100,000 people), Zakarpattia region (109.6).
As of January 20, the occupancy rate for hospital beds set aside for COVID-19 amounted to 28.7% across the country and 31.7% in Kyiv city.
The highest level of occupancy rate was recorded in Mykolaiv region (39.2%).
As of January 21, Ukraine has reported a total of 1,177,621 coronavirus cases, including 5,583 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
