British Ambassador, Ukrainian Vice PM launch project to support Donbas economic strategy

Ukrinform
British Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons and Vice Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Reznikov launched a project aimed at supporting the creation of a strategy for the economic transformation of Donbas.

The project aims to support the Ukrainian government's efforts to develop an evidence-based and people-centered strategy, the British Embassy in Ukraine reported on Facebook on January 15.

Experts will work to ensure that this strategy excludes any unforeseen negative consequences for women, internally displaced persons and other vulnerable groups living in Donbas.

The project is funded by the British Embassy in Ukraine through the Good Governance Foundation (GGF) and delivered by the Alinea and Abt consultancies.
