Kyiv reports 344 new coronavirus cases, 15 deaths

Kyiv city has confirmed 344 new coronavirus cases in the past day, bringing the total number to 116,813, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

“Some 344 new coronavirus patients have been registered in Kyiv over the past day. Fifteen people have died. In total, 2,067 Kyiv residents have died from the coronavirus,” Klitschko wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv in the past day are 188 women aged 18-81 years; 5 girls aged between 1 month and 17 years; 142 men aged 18-82 years; and 9 boys aged between 15 days and 17 years.

Some 448 people have recovered in Kyiv over the course of the past day. In total, 42,784 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As of January 9, Ukraine has reported 1,110,015 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 4,846 new cases recorded over the past 24 hours.
