U.S. Embassy congratulates Ukraine on anniversary of receiving Tomos of Autocephaly

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine has congratulated the Orthodox Church of Ukraine on the second anniversary of receiving the Tomos of Autocephaly.
The diplomatic mission posted a greeting on its Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.
“We support Ukrainians’ ability to worship as they choose, without external influence,” reads the report.
On January 6, 2019, Ukraine received the Tomos of Autocephaly that officially confirms the canonical autocephalous status of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
