Denisova signs memorandum with head of Ukrainian Women Lawyers Association

"Among the priority areas of cooperation will be conducting gender-based legal analysis, developing legislative initiatives and various draft regulations for their further adoption, which will help ensure gender equality in Ukraine," Denisova wrote.

According to her, during the meeting the parties also agreed to hold informational and educational events aimed at raising awareness of citizens, including officials of all levels, the legal and human rights community on the issues of gender equality, non-discrimination, protection of women's rights from domestic violence and gender-based violence.

As reported by Ukrinform, Verkhovna Rada Human Rights Commissioner Liudmyla Denisova signed a memorandum of cooperation with Taras Kremin, State Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language.
