Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Liudmyla Denisova and the International Labour Organization (ILO) signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

The signing ceremony was broadcast on Denisova’s Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.

"I think that today's signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation with the International Labor Organization will contribute primarily to the promotion of fundamental principles in the field of labor. It will also contribute to achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) under a Decent Work Country Programme for Ukraine," Denisova said.

She expressed gratitude to the ILO for agreeing to cooperate with the Commissioner’s Office and noted that an action plan for the implementation of this memorandum would be developed in the future.
