Ukrainian-Polish international education center opens in Donetsk region

According to Ukrinform, the Science and Education Department of the Donetsk Regional State Administration reported this on December 3.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine Bartosz Jan Cichocki took part in the solemn opening ceremony.  In his speech, the Ambassador said that the university would become another platform in eastern Ukraine for the development of partnership between the two friendly countries.

Oleksandr Pavenko, a candidate for Honorary Consul of the Republic of Latvia in Luhansk and Donetsk regions, said he hopes for development of further new prospects.

Those present at the event noted that the opening of the center is a new stage for the development of education and science in Donetsk region, and Ukraine in general.
