Over half of Ukrainians ready to get vaccinated against COVID-19

Some 55% of Ukrainians are ready to get vaccinated against COVID-19 if the vaccine is free, according to a survey conducted by the Rating sociological group.

"Some 55% are willing to get vaccinated against coronavirus if the vaccine is free (40% are not ready). At the same time, if the vaccine is paid, 35% want to get vaccinated, and 57% will not do it in that case," the group said in a statement on the results of the survey.

According to the statement, among those who want to get a COVID-19 vaccine for free are mostly the elderly and villagers, whereas among those who are ready to pay to get vaccinated against the coronavirus are mostly young people and residents of Kyiv.

The poll was conducted on November 28-30, 2020. A total of 2,500 respondents were interviewed. The poll's margin of error does not exceed 2%.
