Health Ministry names regions with highest incidence rate of COVID-19
In particular, the incidence rate of COVID-19 during the past 14 days in Sumy region reached 1,008.8 per 100,000 population, Cherkasy region – 788.4, Kyiv region – 715, Chernihiv region – 668.9, and Zaporizhzhia region – 689.5.
The high incidence rate of COVID-19 was also recorded Chernivtsi region (583.5), Mykolaiv region (536.6), Zhytomyr region (552.7), and Ivano-Frankivsk region (589.2).
The incidence rate of COVID-19 in the city of Kyiv is 662.2 per 100,000 population. An average incidence rate across Ukraine is 492.2 per 100,000 population.
The bed occupancy rate at COVID-19 designated hospitals in the past five days amounted to 50.3% as of November 30. In Kyiv city, this figure amounted to 58.3%.
The high level of bed occupancy rate was recorded in Poltava region – 70.2%, Mykolaiv region - 65.3%, Kirovohrad region - 62.3%, Zaporizhzhia region - 62.4%, and Chernihiv region - 61.8%
Some 12,498 new COVID-19 cases were laboratory confirmed in Ukraine on December 1, bringing the total to 745,123.
