Health Ministry names regions with highest incidence rate of COVID-19
In particular, the incidence rate of COVID-19 during the past 14 days in Sumy region reached 988.4 per 100,000 population, Cherkasy region – 795.9, Kyiv region – 704.1, Chernihiv region – 691.3, and Zaporizhzhia region – 689.6.
The high incidence rate of COVID-19 was also recorded Chernivtsi region (599.7), Khmelnytskyi region (515), Mykolaiv region (529), Zhytomyr region (586.9), and Ivano-Frankivsk region (585.5).
The incidence rate of COVID-19 in the city of Kyiv is 640.1 per 100,000 population. An average incidence rate across Ukraine is 490.8 per 100,000 population.
The bed occupancy rate at COVID-19 designated hospitals in the past five days amounted to 48.9% as of November 29. In Kyiv city, this figure amounted to 55.8%.
The high level of bed occupancy rate was recorded in Mykolaiv region - 62.5%, Kirovohrad region - 63.5%, Poltava region - 67.2%, Zaporizhzhia region - 62.5%, and Chernihiv region - 61.6%
Some 9,946 new COVID-19 cases were laboratory confirmed in Ukraine on November 30, bringing the total to 732,625.
