
Zelensky, his wife honor memory of Holodomor victims
"The president and his wife laid compositions of wheat ears and viburnum at the Memorial Sign to the Victims of the Holodomor of 1932-33 in Ukraine on Mykhailivska Square in Kyiv," the report reads.

After that, the President and the First Lady arrived at the National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide, where they were met by Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko, and Head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory Anton Drobovych.

The participants of the ceremony walked in mourning to the Bitter Memory of Childhood statue, at which they installed symbolic compositions with grain and honored the memory of the victims.
The ceremony ended with a moment of silence.
On Saturday, November 28, Ukraine commemorates Holodomor Memorial Day. This Day is marked annually on the fourth Saturday of November.
