The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has re-signed a memorandum of cooperation with Ukraine’s largest software development company IT Ukraine Association.

The first memorandum was signed back in 2018, but amid the crisis caused by COVID-19, it was decided to strengthen cooperation, the press service of the Education and Science Ministry reported.

“The use of digital technologies has become especially relevant in the context of a pandemic, when many processes have gone online. That is why it was decided to re-sign the memorandum with IT Ukraine Association and start a new stage of our cooperation," said Artur Seletsky, Deputy Minister of Education and Science for Digital Transformation.

IT Ukraine Association was founded in 2004 by the leading companies in the IT-sphere – Miratech, Mirasoft, ProFIX, SoftLine, SoftServe and Ukrsoft. Today, the Association unites more than 60 leading software development companies.

It is planned to launch a platform for effective and efficient interaction between the Education and Science Ministry and the Association in order to create a strategy for joint work, in particular for the development, implementation, and development of modern IT solutions in the field of education and science.
