U.S. launches program to support IDPs in Ukraine

The United States, together with the international organization IREX, has launched a two-year, $2 million program to support internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Ukraine, the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine has said on Twitter.

"The U.S. is pleased to launch 2-year, $2 million program with IREX that will integrate Ukraine's internally displaced persons and build societal resilience in the face of Russia's aggression," the tweet reads.

The International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX) is an independent international nonprofit development organization providing innovative programs to improve the quality of education, strengthen independent media, foster pluralistic civil society development, and reduce conflict.
