Ukraine reports 1,587 COVID-19 hospitalizations in past day

Some 1,587 COVID-19 patients have been hospitalized in Ukraine in the past 24 hours, according to Health Minister Maksym Stepanov.

“Ukraine has reported another anti-record in the past day - 11,787 people have fallen ill with coronavirus. Some 1,587 people have been hospitalized. These people need hospital treatment. This means they have moderate or severe course of the disease. For these people, COVID-19 brings not just a threat to health, but also a threat to life,” Stepanov said at a briefing on November 13, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to the minister, the number of coronavirus patients is growing in Ukraine every day. In particular, the number of COVID-19 patients in Ukraine four months ago was 11-12 times less than today.

As reported, Ukraine confirmed 11,787 new COVID-19 cases on November 12.
