"Ukraine is working with the COVAX Facility, which will ensure the delivery of a coronavirus vaccine to Ukraine in case of its registration with proven safety and efficiency. Today we clearly understand that we will receive the number of doses proportional to 20% of the population. In particular, according to our official statistics, it is up to 8.5 million doses. We expect the first tranche in the amount of 3%, which is 1 million 250 thousand doses," said Liashko.

He noted that the next meeting of the COVAX Facility will be held on November 19, and then it will become clear about the estimated delivery dates, quantity and cost of the vaccine.

As reported by Ukrinform, according to the agreements within the COVAX initiative, Ukraine will receive the COVID-19 vaccine in an amount that will be enough for immunization of 20% of the population.
