Health Ministry names Ukraine’s regions with highest COVID-19 incidence rate

The city of Kyiv and all regions of Ukraine are not ready to ease COVID-19 quarantine measures, according to data provided by the Health Ministry on October 29.

The highest incidence rate of COVID-19 in the past 14 days was recorded in Chernivtsi region (433.7 per 100,000 population), Khmelnytsky region (401.5), and Zhytomyr region (364.6).

The lowest incidence rate of COVID-19 during the last 14 days was registered in Kirovohrad region (93.5), Vinnytsia region (127.2), and Kherson region (138.8).

The incidence rate of COVID-19 in Kyiv is 238.4 per 100,000 population, and across Ukraine – 234.2 per 100,000 population.

As of October 29, 370,417 COVID-19 cases were laboratory confirmed in Ukraine, including 7,342 cases recorded during the previous day.
