Government approves strategy for digital transformation of social sphere

The relevant resolution was approved at a government meeting without discussion, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"To agree with a proposal of the Social Policy Ministry and the Ministry for Digital Transformation on the need for regulatory and legal support and comprehensive digital transformation of all components of the social protection system. To approve the attached Strategy for Digital Transformation of the Social Sphere,” reads the government’s resolution.

The strategy is aimed at ensuring the European standards of operation and provision of services, strengthening financial stability, increasing the transparency of the social sphere, as well as optimizing its administrative expenditures.

The strategy defines the directions and tasks of complex digital transformation of all components of the social protection system on the basis of common approaches, standards and technologies.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Social Policy Ministry represented a new Strategy for Digital Transformation of the Social Sphere in September 2020.
