Health Ministry names regions with highest COVID-19 incidence rate

The city of Kyiv and all regions of Ukraine are not ready to ease quarantine measures introduced to prevent the spread of COVID-19, according to data provided by the Health Ministry on October 23.
The highest incidence rate of COVID-19 in the past 14 days was recorded in Khmelnytsky region (347.9 per 100,000 population), Sumy region (327.7), Ternopil region (321.4) and Chernivtsi region (319.2).
The lowest incidence rate of COVID-19 in the last 14 days was registered in Kirovohrad region (64.2), Vinnytsia region (103.4), and Kherson region (120.8).
The incidence rate of COVID-19 in Kyiv is 225.0 per 100,000 population, and in Ukraine as a whole - 209.7 per 100,000 population.
As of October 23, some 330,396 COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Ukraine, including 7,517 new cases recorded during the previous day.
