Highest number of new COVID-19 cases reported in Kyiv city, Kharkiv region

The highest number of new COVID-19 cases in the past day has been confirmed in Kyiv city and Kharkiv region, according to Health Minister Maksym Stepanov.
“Over the course of the past day, the highest number of new confirmed cases was registered in Kharkiv region – 450 cases, including the city of Kharkiv - 352 cases, Dnipropetrovsk region - 266, including the city of Dnipro - 204, Odesa region - 260, including the city of Odesa – 164, Ternopil region - 253 cases, and Kyiv city - 377 cases," Stepanov said at a press briefing on October 1, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
As of October 1, Ukraine recorded a total of 213,028 COVID-19 cases, including 4,069 cases confirmed over the previous day.
