Highest number of new COVID-19 cases recorded in Kharkiv region, Kyiv city

The highest number of new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours has been reported in Kyiv city, Kharkiv, Odesa, Ternopil and Volyn regions.
Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said this at a press briefing on September 28, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“The highest number of registered cases in the past 24 hours has been recorded in Kharkiv region – 339, Kyiv city – 328 cases, Odesa region – 203, Ternopil region – 153, Volyn region - 143," said Stepanov.
Some 472 people have been hospitalized over the past day. Also, 164 children and 122 health workers have tested positive for COVID-19 over the course of the past day, 571 coronavirus patients have recovered.
As Ukrinform reported, as of September 28, Ukraine reported 201,305 coronavirus cases, including 2,671 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
