Government supports draft ratification of EUR 25 M grant on housing for IDPs

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has supported the draft law on ratification of the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on a EUR 25.5 million grant on housing for internally displaced persons.

"The Government has approved a draft law on ratification of the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on financial cooperation (assignment) on the project ‘Housing for internally displaced persons’ and a draft order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine," Vasyl Mokan, Government’s representative to the Verkhovna Rada, posted on Facebook.

Thus, the agreement made on 3 June 2020 will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for ratification. The ratification will make it possible to get EUR 25.5 million in grants to implement projects on improvement of housing conditions for internally displaced persons. The Ministry of Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine is determined as the grantee.
