Highest number of new COVID-19 cases recorded in Kharkiv region

The highest number of new coronavirus cases in Ukraine in the past 24 hours have been confirmed Kharkiv, Odesa and Lviv regions, according to Health Minister Maksym Stepanov.
“The highest number of [new] COVID-19 patients have been recorded in Kharkiv region - 403, including Kharkiv city - 323, Ternopil region - 337, Odesa region - 287, including Odesa city – 107, and Lviv region - 252,” Stepanov said at a press briefing on September 23, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
The number of seriously ill patients among the patients hospitalized with COVID-19 is growing across Ukraine, as well as the number of hospitalizations. Some 711 people have been hospitalized since September 22.
At the same time, 1,769 recoveries have been recorded in Ukraine over the past 24 hours.
As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine recorded a total of 184,734 COVID-19 cases, including 3,497 new cases confirmed on September 22.
