Over UAH 860 B annually spent on social sphere in Ukraine

"What is social spending? This is more than UAH 860 billion a year. These funds are distributed among 20 million people. Almost every Ukrainian family is a social sphere customer. Unfortunately, we cannot say that the process of social support provision by the state is perfect and completely convenient for people," Lazebna said during the presentation of the Strategy for Social Sphere Digital Transformation in Kyiv on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

She noted that currently "there is insufficient control over how Ukrainian citizens get social support."

"We need a single information system that would allow us to see online all the business processes taking place in the social sphere, manage them, respond quickly to emergency situations and prevent possible violations," the minister added.
