Kyiv region reports 87 new coronavirus cases – Volodin

Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, 102 patients with confirmed COVID-19 have died in Kyiv region, according to Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Vasyl Volodin.

“The past day has brought us five new deaths from COVID-19. In total, since the beginning of the epidemic, we have 102 such cases. In addition, the wave of daily growth of cases does not decline. 87 new cases have been confirmed in the past day and 5,842 cases during the entire period,” Volodin said at a briefing on September 2, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

According to him, there have been 907 hospitalizations and 3,726 recoveries from the disease in the region since the start of the pandemic.

As of September 2, Ukraine reported 125,798 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 2,495 new cases recorded over the past day.
