World's tallest building lights up for Ukraine's Independence Day

The Ukrainian flag was projected on the facade of the world's tallest building on August 24 to mark Ukraine's Independence Day.

According to Ukrinform, the video of this action was posted on the Twitter account of the 828-meter Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai.

"Burj Khalifa lights up in the Ukrainian flag in celebration of their Independence Day, wishing the people of Ukraine prosperity and peace," reads a comment to the video.

Ukraine received Independence Day greetings from the presidents of the United States, France, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Slovakia, the Prime Minister of Canada, as well as Pope Francis, Queen Elizabeth II and other world leaders.
