Ukraine reports 1,799 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

As of August 24, Ukraine has reported 106,757 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 1,799 new cases recorded over the past 24 hours.
According to the data provided by the coronavirus epidemic monitoring system of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, 22 deaths and 289 recoveries were reported over the past 24 hours.
Overall, Ukraine has confirmed 2,293 deaths and 52,524 recoveries since the start of the pandemic.
The highest number of new coronavirus cases over the past day was confirmed in
Chernivtsi region (241), Kyiv city (209), Ivano-Frankivsk region (170), Odesa region (145), Lviv region (142), Kharkiv region (141), Ternopil region (139).
