The total number of coronavirus cases in Kyiv city reached 11,507.
"Another 179 Kyiv residents, including 16 children, contracted coronavirus over the past day. For the first time, Kyiv records such a high number of deaths per day as seven people died. In total, coronavirus claimed the lives of 165 Kyiv residents. The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Kyiv city reached 11,507," Mayor Vitali Klitschko posted on Telegram.
In particular, 100 women aged 21-79 years, five girls aged 2-14 years, 63 men aged 19-92 years, eleven boys aged 1 month - 8 years were tested positive. Six health workers contracted coronavirus over the past day.
Twenty-four patients were hospitalized.
Since the start of the pandemic, 3,682 Kyiv residents recovered from coronavirus, including 76 people over the past day.
