Red Cross sends two more convoys with humanitarian aid to occupied Donbas

Two convoys with humanitarian aid cargo crossed the contact line in Donbas, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

"Within the past 24 hours, in accordance with the order of the commander of the Joint Forces, seven trucks of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) were allowed to pass through the contact line," the report says.

As noted, two convoys on the Kyiv-Donetsk route crossed the Novotroitske checkpoint. Food kits, hygiene products and building materials were delivered by cars to citizens living in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.

In total, the Red Cross sent about 120 tonnes of aid.
