More than 20,000 Ukrainian tourists have already visited Antalya since the resumption of air service between Ukraine and Turkey on July 1.

Consul of Ukraine in Antalya Viacheslav Khomenko stated this in an interview with Ukrinform.

"As of July 21, more than 20,000 Ukrainians arrived in Antalya for vacation. Some of them have already returned home. The consulate has not received any data on any coronavirus cases among tourists from Ukraine," Khomenko said.

According to him, Antalya Airport now receives eight flights a day from Ukraine. The planes arrive from six Ukrainian cities: Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa and Zaporizhzhia. Flights are operated by four airlines: WindRose, SkyUp, AzurAir, and UIA.

As reported by Ukrinform, the international scheduled air service between Ukraine and Turkey was resumed on July 1.
