Kyiv reports 108 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

The city of Kyiv has confirmed 108 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

"The number of Kyiv residents who have tested positive for coronavirus over the past 24 hours has increased by another 108 people. Two patients have died," Klitschko wrote on Facebook.

According to him, 6,797 coronavirus cases have already been confirmed in the Ukrainian capital.

Among the Kyiv residents who have contracted COVID-19 in the past day are 53 women aged 19-85 years; two girls aged 6 and 8 years; 50 men aged 18-85 years; and 3 boys aged 9 months to 8 years old. Four health workers are reported to be among them.

In total, 2,360 people have recovered from the disease, including 40 in the past 24 hours.

As reported, Ukraine's total cases of COVID-19 reached 58,111 as of July 18, including 847 new cases confirmed in the previous day.
