Clinical trials of four medicines against COVID-19 are underway in Ukraine.

“As for clinical trials of medicines that can be used in the treatment of coronavirus disease, we now have four medicines registered, four clinical trials are underway: Amizon, Amixin, Corvitin, and Biomen. They all undergo clinical trials," Health Minister of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov said at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The minister added that conclusions on efficiency of these medicines would be made after completion of trials.

Stepanov reminded that vaccine against coronavirus disease had not been developed yet, although a number of European countries already formed an alliance and pre-ordered a future vaccine.

"To date, there is no vaccine against coronavirus disease. Ukraine is actively monitoring all the trials around the world," the minister assured.
