Ukraine conducted 150,000 ELISA tests for coronavirus – Stepanov

Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, Ukraine has conducted about 150,000 ELISA tests to detect antibodies to COVID-19.
Health Minister Maksym Stepanov stated this at a briefing on June 24, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"More than 10,000 ELISA tests have been conducted over the past day. In total, about 150,000 ELISA tests have been performed during the entire period of using these test systems [in Ukraine]," Stepanov said.
He noted that currently ELISA testing is widely used in Ukraine, including Ukrainian-made test systems.
On June 24, Ukraine reported 39,014 laboratory confirmed cases of COVID-19. Some 940 new infections and 16 deaths related to the disease have been confirmed in the previous day.
