“A new Ukrainian rehabilitation center was opened in Sutomore yesterday. It is on the basis of this center in future our Ukrainian soldiers will be rehabilitated. This is target we are moving step by step with the help of our diaspora,” Mykhailo Shmatov, Consul of the Embassy of Ukraine in Montenegro posted on Facebook.

The diplomat also published photos and videos of the event.

"The fact that our Ukrainian soldiers will undergo rehabilitation in the Ukrainian center and thanks to the Ukrainians is awesome. I really hope that all non-indifferent people will join this project and we will raise the necessary sum of money to take our soldiers here not only once, but three or four times a year - as much as possible. To help as much as possible and to show as much as possible that Montenegro is not a pro-Russian country, but that Ukrainians can really show their patriotism, their position and do something practical to help Ukraine," the Consul said in a video address.
