Ukrainians allowed to enter Montenegro

The Government of Montenegro has allowed tourists from Ukraine to enter the country if they present a negative PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 taken no later than 48 hours before the arrival.

“The countries whose residents can enter Montenegro, if they present a negative PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 done by accredited laboratories, are: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Turkey, Israel, Poland, Romania, Italy and Ukraine. The test must not be older than 48 hours,” the press service of the Government of Montenegro informs.

The measures take effect on Sunday, 21 June at midnight.

Montenegro introduced the zone entry rule. The residents of countries of the green zone are allowed to enter without restrictions; of the yellow zone - with a negative PCR test for COVID-19; of the red zone - are banned from entering Montenegro. Ukraine is a yellow zone country.

As reported, Ukraine’s coronavirus cases rose to 35,825 as of June 20, including 841 new infections reported in the previous day.
