Ukraine confirms 393 coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

Ukraine reports 393 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours.

"Some 393 persons have fallen ill over the past day, including seven children and 64 healthcare workers. Ninety-four people have been hospitalized. Seventeen deaths and 377 recoveries have been reported,” Ukraine’s Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said at a briefing on May 30, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

During the entire period of the pandemic in Ukraine, 23,204 have been infected, including 1,700 children and 4,475 healthcare workers, Stepanov noted. In total, 9,311 recoveries and 696 deaths have been confirmed.

Ukraine has conducted 10,811 PCR tests and 1,560 EIA tests in the past 24 hours, the minister said.

According to Worldometer, 6,045,328 COVID-19 cases have been reported in the world as of the morning of May 30, including 367,111 deaths and 2,671,427 recoveries.
