Ukraine can resume water supply to Crimea only after de-occupation of the peninsula.

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Reznikov said this in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

When asked whether the Ukrainian authorities had ever discussed the issue of resuming water supply to the temporarily occupied Crimea, he said: “No one is going to resume anything. There is a simple answer: after de-occupation, we will deliver our water to our Crimea.”

Reznikov stressed that Russia is solely responsible for this situation. “Moreover, according to the Geneva Convention, they are obliged to meet all the humanitarian needs of the civilian population,” he said.
