Naftogaz allocates UAH 8 mln for fight against coronavirus

“Since the beginning of quarantine, we have transferred UAH 8 million to help medical workers in the regions. With these funds, personal protective equipment, disinfectants and medical equipment were purchased," the Naftogaz press service wrote on its Facebook page.

In total, 21 medical institutions, 26 outpatient clinics, and territorial communities in seven regions received assistance.

As Ukrinform reported, on March 16, President Volodymyr Zelensky met with representatives of major Ukrainian companies, where the president called on business to help the state and society fight the spread of coronavirus.

As of 09:00 on April 24, Ukraine reported 7,647 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases, including 193 deaths and 601 recoveries. Some 477 new cases were confirmed over the past day.
